Based in Bristol, Medicat Ltd nursing agency provides dedicated professional Healthcare Assistants, Registered Nurses, Practice Nurses and Specialist Nurses to Nursing and Residential Homes, GP Practices, Hospitals, Walk-in-Centres and Minor Injury Units throughout the southwest.

Our objective is to provide the highest standards of care, with a fee structure that is transparent and easy to understand. We are also able, upon request, to arrange a discount for loyalty and first call service. All this can be explained to you on an initial visit and consultation.

Simply provide us with details of the shifts you require assistance with and we will endeavour to fill your position within the hour, of course keeping you informed every step of the way.

We currently service Nursing and Residential homes, GP Practices, Hospitals, Walk-In Centres and Minor Injury Units in Bristol and throughout the southwest are able to provide personnel to:

  • Nursing homes (general, frail elderly, rehabilitation, learning disabilities, physical disorders & EMI).
  • Residential homes.
  • Private Hospitals.
  • NHS Hospitals.
  • PCT’s.
  • General Practice.

We are committed to:

Covering all requests for personnel within fifteen minutes. If we cannot achieve this time scale we will always contact you by phone with a progress report.

Ensuring that all Medicat Ltd personnel wear the correct uniform and ID Badge when reporting for duty.

Ensuring that the assignee has undergone the rigorous vetting procedures adopted by the Agency.

Providing telephone contact that is courteous, reliable, and conscientious and where possible, personnel who are familiar with the client thereby offering continuity of care.

Providing feedback opportunities and welcome suggestions for ways to improve our service.

Operating within equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory policies and practices.

Providing a 24 hour a day, seven day a week service and contact with a registered nurse, for all staffing needs.

Providing consistency of stafing to clients to aid best practice, reduce induction time and help develop staff and resident/patient relationships and continuity of care

*Cancellation: shifts can be cancelled by giving at least 24 hours notice by telephone. Our cancellation policy will apply in accordance with our client Terms and Conditions of Business.
